About Pastor Tim Turner

Pastor Tim and his family moved to San Augustine, Texas in 2020 and have been pastoring at San Augustine Methodist Church ever since. He has been called to ministry since a young age, especially with a passion for Gospel preaching. He also serves as the Dean of the Trinity Conference School of Ministry and a Connecting Elder in the Trinity Conference of the Global Methodist Church.

Pastor Tim attended Asbury Theological Seminary for both his seminary and his Doctor of Ministry education. His D.Min. dissertation focused on best practices of preaching in the Digital Age. Pastor Tim currently attends Indiana Wesleyan University as a Ph.D. student in organizational leadership. He also holds degrees from Moody Bible Institute (B.S. in Theological Studies) and the University of Alabama (M.S. in Communication and Organizational Leadership).

He and his wife, Katie have two children, Sybil Jane and Emmy Louise.
